Day6 :- SATURDAY JULY 27,2024 (ECO CLUB/ SCHOOL NUTRITION DAY)
The day started with the school assembly. During the school assembly the Eco club members presented a skit which showcased the feelings of Mother Earth by various human behaviours. The skit was very well expressed and executed. The next was a healthy lunch box activity by encouraging the students to bring a healthy and nutritious meal for the recess. The students were asked to bring their healthy lunch boxes beforehand. A well-prepared lunch box ensures that children receive the essential nutrients—such as vitamins, minerals, proteins, and healthy fats—needed for sustained energy, concentration, and overall well-being.
Lastly #plant4mother activity was done at the school campus. The students along with their mothers planted a tree with a slogan “plant for mother”. Plantation efforts contribute to improving the local ecosystem by providing habitats for wildlife, preventing soil erosion, and conserving water. Additionally, such activities offer educational opportunities, teaching participants about the importance of trees, sustainable living, and the long-term benefits of a green environment for future generations.
Day7: - SUNDAY JULY 28,2024 (TITHI BHOJAN)
On the last day of Siksha Saptah, a Tithi bhojan was organised at our school campus and interested students volunteered for the event. Sharing food reflects the values of charity and selflessness, as it is often organised through voluntary contributions and services. In many religious contexts, it symbolizes gratitude and spiritual fulfilment, where serving food is seen as a noble act of kindness and devotion.
This is how we celebrated our siksha saptah and are really thankful for all the opportunities and learning.
